Time Machine by dreamylittlethings Time Machine by dreamylittlethings
It took a lot of time and effort to finally make this. I had this clock that I bought for five bucks at a yard sale, and when I opened the back to check out the gears and such, I was delighted to find that they were PERFECT.

So I tinkered around and worked each gear loose, and finally put this baby together. It's not kinetic, [nor, sadly, is it functional] but I love it to death, and I hope you do, too. :)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Time Machine.

Gears, ah yeah.. I see the connection.. since they are used in clocks to keep time.. Wait.. is that a vacuum tube?!

I don't know what gears have to do with time travel.

"No coherent form"? This looks like quite a time-consuming and well-built construction. I'd hardly say it's just "a bunch of random gears". Actually, I love the look of this. The effort and love you put into it are evident. o_o It actually has quite a time machine-kind-of-look to it, so I think the title is nice. ^_^ I'd love to see some high wuality pictures of it soon.

Err... No offense, but what I see here is a bunch of random gears and wheels and such with no coherent form.

It's a standing structure. It's got tons of levels and stuff. Bear with me, my camera's broken, so this was a crappy cell phone picture. When I get it fixed I'll be able to REALLY take pictures. Sorry. ^ ^
